Behind the Lens

Lake Ivanhoe has always been one of my favorite places to photograph the Orlando skyline because the reflections can completely transform the scene.

On this evening, the water was unusually calm. As the city lights came on and the last blue tones lingered in the sky, the skyline reflected almost perfectly across the lake. Moments like this don’t happen every evening, which is what makes them worth waiting for.
