Behind the Lens

This photograph was taken on a warm summer day at Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego. The pelicans were riding the ocean breeze along the cliffs, passing by every few moments.

I spent some time watching their flight patterns before everything finally lined up. With the coastline stretching into the distance and the birds moving together, it captured the feeling of a place that’s always in motion but never seems rushed.
