Behind the Lens
This photograph was made on a warm summer evening in Clearwater as the last light of the day reflected across the harbor.
What first caught my eye was the sailboat sitting quietly in the foreground. Combined with the vivid colors in the sky and their reflection on the water, it created one of those scenes that didn’t need much interpretation—it simply worked.
Sometimes the best photographs come from waiting for the light to do the heavy lifting. This was one of those evenings.
